About Me
Multi-faceted education sector professional who can seamlessly transition from high-level strategic planning to setting up classroom science experiments with ease. Certified classroom educator, writer, event producer and youth development program manager with over 15 years of experience leading educational programming. Able to achieve targeted and measurable outputs and impacts while simultaneously coaching my team members to grow and succeed.
I am passionate about education equity, inclusion, and closing the achievement gap, starting with early childhood education. I have experience teaching in charter and Title 1 public schools and I am seeking to transition to the non-profit sector in order to scale my impact on equitable educational access.
I am also a published writer with a focus on parenting and education. I have written over 60 published articles for parenting magazines and blogs, and have deep experience with business writing for a variety of audiences.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR AND PEOPLE OPERATIONS
Steve and Kate's has been reinventing summer camp for the modern era. Our unique philosophy revolves around conforming to kids, not the other way around. Instead of rigid structure, we give our campers choice. Instead of teaching kids the typical way, we give them tools and gentle guidance, then we help them become auto-didacts, people who teach themselves. The difference is subtle – and it’s profound. We provide cutting edge equipment and liberate children to choose their own activities and ultimately discover their passions.

Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher in Charter and Title I public schools. Early Childhood Montessori Certification with additional graduate coursework in ESL, Bilingual Education, Diversity and Inclusion.
